leaking antifreeze

I have a 2003 f350 6.0. Removed a broken stud from the passenger side exhaust manifold and there is antifreeze is leaking through the hole. Should I be worried? It's the top stud farthest to the rear.

Sounds like head gaskets. I moved this to the 6.0 forum.

It may have been drilled out before. If it was drilled too deep does it mean the head is garbage or if I put a new bolt in with rtv would it be OK?

I would put a bolt in it and see how it goes. Worst case you need new heads, which is what you are looking at now

You might get away with it for a while but it should never leak from any bolt hole on the head. Save your $$$ for a new head. That one is FUBAR.

I wouldn't buy two heads if only one was needed. I'd even try what fordman suggested and see how long that will last. You could use Permatex gray and possibly seal it for a long time.

OK. I'll try that and see how it goes. But if I have to buy heads I'm just gonna get both for upgrades. I also wanna do the head stud and gasket set
