issues after egr delete help please!!

So i just did and egr delete and replaced the oil cooler. i got everything back together and started the truck. It started up on the second crank ran rough. after shutting it off and starting it a couple of times it ran fine at idle. Then the problems started. If i put any throttle to it then it dies when it idles down. It also takes a long time to build enough pressure to start. Like 4-5 times cranking for like 20 seconds each time with a little time in between to let the starter cool off. Everytime it does start it will sit there and idle beautifully for ever. Just dont try and go anywhere.
Anyone have any ideas. IPR? ICP?
I have the truck in my buddys shop and need it for next week.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Do you have a gauge to monitor ICP and IPR also FICM

yes I have a scan guage. The icp at idle is where it should be (584). The IPR goes to 77 when it is cranking and not starting. I did not check the ficm. It was good before. It is just weird how after it does start it will sit there and idle forever and not miss a beat. I can even rev it up to lets say 2000rpm and hold it there and itts fine but as soon as I let off the throttle completely it dies.

normal Idle ICP would be 625.5 and IPR at Idle is around 24 have you pulled the IPR and check the screen

Sounds like a gelled fuel issue. Check the fuel filters. Has it been outside??? Or has it been cold???

05+ is 580 psi... keep that in mind. A lot of the charts floating around only show numbers for the 03-04 engines.

Oem cap and filter. And as for cold, warmer than it has been all winter(im in alberta canada)and it has be in the heated shop the last two days. I have not pulled the IPR. I will be working on it again tomorrow trying to figure this thing out. It ran good before I did this work. No issues, just that the deltas were getting up there so I did the oil cooler and while i was at it the egr delete. Is there any way that the oil is draining from the filter housing causing not enough oil to get the HPOP?
Will i need anything special to take the ipr valve off?

Didn't use paper towels or red lint rags to clean up the reservoir did you?

I sucked out all the oil with a suction gun and then wiped it out with blue shop towels keeping the old screen in it until I was done.

Do I have to have that special socket? I wonder if Napa would have it. There always has to be a special tool haha.

Oh and thanks everyone for helping me out here. You guys are awesome.

Your welcome, and yes the connection gets in the way of a normal socket you could try and make one but cutting down a socket sucks and if a parts store is close wala another tool for the box
