1948 F1 Trans

i currently restoring my 1948 F1 and trying to find a 3 speed top loader transmission,when i bought it came with four transmissions 4 speed

please let me know if there is any of this transmission available

Welcome to FTE!

You can probably find a 3-speed light duty toploader without much problem, but be aware you will have to get a new driveshaft to go with it.

I have the drive shaft that goes with the 3 speed , Im just not having any luck finding the transmission

Check the classified listings on this forum. Our own Cody_1948 has a 3 speed tranny. He is in the Lansing, MI area.
