Nope, looks like the wrong gasket down there. There should be a straight shot down the bores with no misalignment. If you pull the spacer plate off, you'll probably find the EGR cavity is not lined up properly either.
There are two different types of EGR valves, two different spacer plates, two different EGR mounting gaskets, two different upper and lower spacer plate gaskets.
The original factory installed aluminum spacer plates tended to burn out within a few years, so the replacements were made of cast iron. But this has nothing to do with the 'two different' parts.
