I bought my 2014 f350 sc 6.7 lariat last week. msrp was $59,220, invoice was $55,136. They sold it to me for $500 behind invoice and gave me a $2,500 rebate and another $1,000 rebate because I have another leased vehicle that's not a ford. I bought it at a dealer in Warwick Ny and they were great to deal with.

this is what it is telling me based upon the vin at the dealer. More than I would have thought it to be.

Base xplan 57468.00
Destination 1195.00
Total 58663.00
Rebate 2500.00
Net x plan 56163

My truck stickered at $63K and change. With rebates I was out the door at $52.5 including TT&L. Deal took patience and about two weeks to work. The sticker on yours looks good given all the options. I think you'd do well to drive out around $53-$55K total. Once the '15s hit the lots you'll be in a better position.

Mine was right in that neighborhood, I think it was around 62,800 or so(MSRP). Invoice was 57,xxx. I got it for invoice minus rebates, despite being a special order. I think after rebates it came out around 56,200, but PA's 6% sales tax, and the fact I sold my old truck rather than traded it, put me around 60k out the door. Damn taxes.

It certainly wasn't cheap. But I have everything I wanted (Goose prep, heated rear seat, 40/20/40 front seat, upfitters), and nothing I didn't(moonroof or chrome package).

2014 Lariat Ultimate CC Dually
Pretty Loaded up with 5th Wheel GN Prep, Upfitter Switches, heated rear seat, etc...

The truck is about 100 miles away, and I'm kinda dealing with the internet guy and when I asked him what the "real" price was he said it was up to his boss. So I'm wondering what I should be looking at.

This has been a tough decision for me, I have driven a Dodge, but power wise it didn't impress me, compared to my 6.0, so I'm waiting to see when this dually will come in so I can drive it.

Thanks and I guess I may be more than a 6.7 lurker here at some point...just not sure when. If this deal falls through I'm probly just gonna hang on to my 6.0 since its been a great truck and I have a ton of extras in it.

Sarge,
Buying any brand of truck should not be trivial. The sticker shock maybe the price quoted for your 6.0 psd . You probably would be better off selling it yourself.

Good luck...

BTW... Here's a F350 DRW Lariat FX4 CC for ~ $52k. http://autonationfordkaty.net/Katy/F...ruck/26734987/

The Guys at Dodge are going to give be 24k for my truck, which I feel is fair. I did have it on CL and Want Ad Digest and I really had nothing but tire kickers.

The funny thing is I went to the local Ford dealer which I bought 4 brand new trucks from and they only offered me 15k....I walked before even looking at a truck there.

I have seen the duallys going for around 50-52k with what I want on it, but its tough to drive 200-300 miles, or to Texas to get 1.

And for me it is trivial because this may very well be the last "new" truck I buy. Im not against a used truck but it seems that anything with less than 25k on the clock seem to come in around 40-48k...may as well go for a new 1 at that point, but that's JMHO.

Sarge, I just bought one with almost the same MSRP in Fort Myers Fl where everything costs more in the winter. Think I paid 55 and some change. And I was in a must buy position as my 08 was totaled. The best prices are out in Texas, Houston but I can't remember the dealers name right now. Problem was by the time I flew out there and drove the truck back I was saving 8 or 9 hundred bucks and working 4 days. I try to avoid work at all cost. Anyway, maybe you're closer to Houston or not as lazy as me. Good luck.

Im not anywhere near Houston Stan,

Im self employed so to take 4 days off just to spend money isn't going to work in my favor...and Im sure your not lazy buddy.

Yes that dealer has awesome prices and makes me wish I was closer to Tx.

I got my taxes back and the "man" wants more from me than I already gave last year so it may not be the right time for me to buy a truck anyway. Im still waiting for the dealer 100 miles from me to run me some numbers. I told them I would be willing to go to an xlt, but Im not sure I want to go back to that....not saying that to disrespect. I just like the equipment in the Ultimate. And yeah I know I can get A/M Nav and stuff, but I don't know if I want to go through all of that again either.

I used the Texas internet sales numbers as a bit of leverage when dealing with the local Fort Myers dealer. Contacted them through their web site and said they had to get close enough to the texas price to make me not want to make the trip. I think it helped a little. Of course unless you have their numbers you don't ever know how much more you could have saved. I don't deal in new stuff much, before this truck the last new I bought was a 2001 truck and before that a 1984 corvette. So, I don't get much pratice. And I wouldn't have bought this new if there were any decent DRW used trucks down there. A great place to buy a convertible but not a DRW truck.

I used X Plan. And, when I bought mine there was a credit for using Ford Credit. I didn't want to make payments. But the loan department said there was no penalty for early payment. So, here's what we did...

We financed for three years, got the Ford Credit discount then paid the truck off in 90 days. I don't know if that is something that interests you. We were going to pay cash anyhow, so this was just a way to get the truck cheaper and there were no early payoff penalties. It caused the dealer a little paperwork, but they said they would be glad to do it for us.

Just an idea............ Good luck with your decision, they are great trucks!!!

Thanks guys,

Paying cash is a definite no for me. I have a good chunk to put down between my trade and some funny money I have laying around. I am using the Tx prices as leverage too, I have someone interested in my truck so I could just sell it and fly down and drive back, but I would rather buy it local since they will also get the warranty work.

Like I said it may not be feesable for me at this point anyway.

Yeah the right time would have been before Dec. 31. I am also self employed and my new truck saved my butt this year on taxes.
