Once complete it will be powder coated to match the front.

It is not mounted yet... It is NOT precisely where it will end up when finished. It will be a little higher and forward.

I'm still trying to decide how I want to finish the ends of the tubes and I need to notch it out for the fenders below the tail lights in order to move it forward and up under the tailgate.

The two pairs of 5 holes are for plug welds on the 4x4 angle.

Teaser photo...
Decided to do some repairs on the rear tank and fill hose before installing the new bumper for good, so it will be a few days before I can post the "real" completed pics.

Plain can be fine. The longer the bumper is on there, the better it'll look. Sometimes brand new parts look out of place, but they'll gradually match the rest of the truck. I think the bumper looks fine myself.

I built one for mine that is probably just as simple. It just has some lights and recovery points.

Thanks, I can live with plain and boring. I had zero intentions to build a ghetto fab, flip the truck back on all fours - break in the process and kill innocent bystanders and nuns with "vanilla" ice cream cones out for a Sunday stoll. HAHA.

I'm not real happy with it, but it is the first bumper I've built and it's good enough for who it's for. I might add some led back up trailer lights at some point to break up be "boring" black flat surfaces.

I wouldn't have any qualms about throwing that on my 93 F350. Nice job for a first build.
