Well here is how my day went. I installed my new Boondocks Bumper today. It turned out AMAZING with the Line-X. I am very pleased with it. I have to buy some Hella 500 lights for the buckets, and then i am buying two LightForce 240XGT lights. I think it will look great. Onto the pics. Let me know what you think.

I checked out the Boondocksbumper.com and the bumper seems to be very well made and sturdy. 130 pounds?? This is more than the base bumper if I understand their pricing.
I dont think that I can afford it--and the shipping charges for 2000 miles shipment. Wasn't this bumper and it's accessories and shipping more than 900 dollars??
I would suggest trying to get use to the look of the new bumper. If you still dont like it--try advertising on Craigslist or local 4x4 club.
It looks like it's too high up, too far forward, and needs 2 or 3 driving lights mounted on top of the bumper, in the middle. I'd keep it, if you can get it to mount to the body. It had to be deisgned for this year truck..didn't they move the frame rails farther apart? The new engines are a lot wider with the cams on top.
