One other thing:
In looking at those pictures again, it looks like your battery cables are crossed. It's safer if you set them up to connect to the battery without crossing. That means it might be necessary to have them be about 6" longer than you might expect -- because your next battery might have the terminals farther away from the engine.
The battery cable you see in the picture is actually the ned not pos side. I plan on gettong a battery with the pos side cloaest to the solenoid and then running the correct cables as well.

I've recently been in the position where I needed to swap batteries around in my trucks, and having the extra 6" or so on the battery cables is useful. With some batteries, when you put the POS terminal near the solenoid, it means the terminals are near the engine... with other batteries, it means they are near the fender. When I had to deal with terminals near the fender, the insulation on the negative cable got abraded by the alternator's integral fan. Oops!
