C6 Experts please advise...
So I have a 69 Bump with a 390 in it, It was an original 3 spd on the column, and I pulled the C6 from a 72 F-150, rebuilt it and installed it, It died a few years back and has been sitting since. Tonight I ordered a rebuild kit from Ebay, not realizing that there may be a difference in the C6 for the 72 FE, and the 72 429/460 C6. Are there any major changes in the parts between the two?

Other than a few extra clutches you should be ok.
Make sure valve body gaskets are exact duplicates. No holes open or covered.

I was fortunate enough to get in touch with the seller before it shipped , the guys at oregon performance transmission put the push in type modulator in the kit and shipped it without even calling me dumb, no but seriously kudos to them for a level of customer service that is rather rare these days .
