4X4 not working

Hi everyone. I have a 2004 F150 Heritage 4x4. The lights on the dash for my 4 wheel drive are not working. When you turn the switch nothing engages. I checked the fuses and all seem to be working was wondering if it could be a relay?

if its a heritage you will probably have better luck in the 97-03 section

On my 2005 150 when the 4wd did not engage. This was due to a front vacuum light slipping off. A typical problem with these trucks. My mechanic came up with a solution by customizing brackets to hold these lines in place. A huge benefit when purpose of truck is snow plowing.
