!994 chips? ecm tuning
anyone ever put a chip in a 94 f150 4wd w/ 5.0 MAF and an ADOE-W trans? what did you use? i was suggested the moates quarterhorse but have received conflicting info on it for its use in trucks and waiting on a email back from the company. whats the easiest to use? i by no means know how to build a "tune" so i need the easiest to use

that the programming isnt supported much for the trucks , but i talked to a support tech whom said it may be depending on the eec in it. now im trying to figure out how to remove it to get the damn code he needs to be able to tellme for sure

All Ford PCMs are hardware compatable with these tuners meaning they all have a place where it will plug in, the problem is somebody has to decode the storage locations for all of the tuning parameters and for the most part that has only been done for the MAF pcms and for performance vehicles like the Mustang and Lightning. The info you need is on a label on the PCM connector and will look like the picture below, the PCM is located in the drivers side kick panel and on your truck is accessed from the engine bay after the wiring harness has been disconnected. Be sure to disconnect the battery before disconnecting any wiring.
