I bought a 2003 F250 CC 4x4 short bed recently that I was told has a 6" pro comp lift on it. After pulling up next to my buddies F350 who has a 8" pro comp lift I question if it is really an 8" lift. My truck was slightly taller than his truck. I am not sure how I can tell which lift I have. Both 6" and 8" use the 22610 front leafs which is what is stamped on the front leafs of my truck. Also I want to get some bilsteins for my truck. I took off the shocks that are on the truck now and measured the extended length. They measured 35"s roughly long. Is there a way I can measure the connecting points on the truck to know what length of shock to get? Thanks for any info..
I have an 07 350 with a fabtech 6" lift.
A bud used to have a 05 250 with a 6" lift
and was taller than me, both on 37"s.
I never understood why. Stock one tons are already
a bit higher than a stock 3/4 ton. I recently replaced
my rear springs because one side was cracked.
When I installed the new "ProComp" 6" springs
it sits 2" higher in the rear now. Now I need to
raise the front to make it level.
