Mirrors

I would like to disable the defrost feature on my side view mirrors. I live in western Wa and it rains a lot here, cosnsequently the mirrors are fouled constantly with dried water spots. Its very annoying. It really doesn't freeze here that often so there not needed any way. Does anybody else have experience with this? How do I disable these mirrors.
Thanks

Pull the fuse. I'm not sure what the number is but that's what I'll be doing shortly. Frost season is over......knock on wood.

Try this link for information on putting them on a switch.

I use mine in the rain to keep them dry for better visibility. I like dry mirrors in the rain more than dealing with the spots.

I pulled the fuse. I know some guys really like that heated feature, but I find it more of a nuisance than anything.
