Moving Radiator support forward

Hey, wondering what to do with the fender bracket when you move the radiator bracket forward? I know there are two sets of holes in the inner fenders, but without moving the fender bracket with the radiator it seems the inner fender would be too weak to support the fender bracket. Do you move the fender bracket forward too, if so, it doesn't appear that the fenders can easily bolt up (the ledge within the fender is not wide enough to drill another hole.

The outboard end of the fender bracket stays in the same place. The fender bracket does move forward with the rad support. It all bolts together in the same manner no matter which set of holes the bolts go through.

I'll have to try that, I didn't think it could be pulled that far to stay in the same fender hole.

It that really the case Wayne? The brace is going to be aligned with the plane of the radiator support. Without bending something, I don't see how the fender attachment point stays unchanged. I swiped this pic from the Ford Barn.

I wonder if the only way the holes line up is when you have a F7 or F8, as the fender brackets for those trucks are different, as well as the fenders of course. I think I'm going to make a small extension and weld it to the end of the fender bracket so it reaches the original hole in the fender.

After pondering this I recalled seeing 2 sets of brace holes. I dug out some old pictures and this is what I found. The circled area shows the two brace holes, forward for 6 cylinder, rearward for V8. Sorry for the confusion. The old brain just isn't what it used to be sometimes.
