i would buy shorty headers. they are much easier to work into the truck along with the simplicity of not having to re-pipe your exhaust. not to mention that its preaty challenging to put long tube headers on a ford 4x4 becasue of the x-fer case and the drive shaft (or at least in my case!) i had the long tube headers but had to send them back becasue they didnt fit.
heh yeah ford 4x4 was just not ment for long-tube hedders, like i said i just dropped the idea and whent with the shorties. they seem to cost more though, oh well.
We're bailing on the idea for now... the existing muffler system had problems rubbing the frame and was hanging really wild... we replaced it with a Flowmaster exiting with two tubes on the passenger side... really sweet sounding now!
