i have a leak on one of my drivers side fuel lines, they look like they connect to hoses and go up to the fuel bowl, where can i get a kit where i can get the lines and hoses so i can replace them, i feel like napa wont have the hard lines and the hoses, just the dealer. and the more i look on xtreme diesel, or riffraff i only found the lines that are at the top of the motor. thanks.
thats not what im really looking for, i have the fuel bowl re seal kit, and i need the hard lines that go from the pump on the frame rail up to the bowl
Where is it broke and how much money do you want to spend? You can order the line from the Ford house I'm sure. You can buy straight tubing and a bender and make another one yourself. Or you can just get a tubing cutter and cut the line where it's leaking. Install a piece of 30R9 or similar fuel injector hose over the two cut ends with a hose clamp on each side, and be back on the road with no problems.
You could also just replace the hardline with rubber fuel injection hose and zip tie it in place with the same result.
The pressure is not too high to replace it with hose. The reason I recommended 30R9 is because it's typically rated to handle the biodiesel we're seeing in some of the pumps now.
