Found this on eBay---interesting:

Ford E Series Van Van | eBay

Not sure I'd pay almost $9K for it----------but then I'm not IDIJohn either!

Very cool, I'd drive it, but the seller and my opinions on "completely restored" appear to be quite different lol

I had a '66 years ago and the kingpin bushings were no longer available for these. Have to have 'em machined, which is why I sold 'er

Yeah--same here! Plus his price seemed a bit crazy but who knows---might have sold after the auction for a bit less. I get the impression the seller would pretty much dump this one to the first guy with at least half his asking price.

If it pops back up we'll see what's what then.

Lots of people seem to get "restored" confused with rebuilt. To me restored is it is put back to just the way it was when it rolled out of the factory. Rebuilt is just returned to good functional condition, in any fashion the rebuilder chooses.

I've returned a number of Jeeps to like new condition, but they certainly weren't restored to like new FACTORY condition.

It's still cool, but only about 2k cool to me lol. And thats only judging by the pics, I'm sure I could find worse damages up close and personal. God bless him though for trying to get what he can out of it
