poor gas milage

i have a 95 f150 with the 4.9 and a 5 speed that has been getting about 11 mpg lately. the CEL is on and the codes i get from it are 118-173-179-212. the 02 sensor is brand new,as is the map sensor. the coolant temp sensor is about 6 months old and the ohm reading is correct for the specs i found. any ideas on something else to try?

Have you done a Tune-up lately? Change the air filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter?

I blame it on the crap gas they are pumping out to us.

Is the SPOUT plug in place? Are you tuned for the 19# injectors in your sig?

You tested the ECT sensor itself but did you test its signal voltage?, 118 = computer is seeing 0 to -40 deg coolant temps so resistance is very high in that circuit or very little to no signal voltage present.
High resistance equals cold coolant/engine low resistance equates to hot coolant/engine but imagine you know that.

Correct that issue first clear CM then drive test, see if those couple other related codes 173/179 where solely attributed to that issue.

212 loss of ignition diagnostic monitor signal/SPOUT circuit grounded.

Check circuit for continuity to ground, if none found might be ICM itself as the problem. ("212" might be equivalent to "18"?)
