Ya crazy I know.. That's why I'm wondering where it actually vents from and if its sealed by the headgasket. Because my HGs are blown I'm thinking its not sealing around where the vent is and allowing the coolant that cools the head to get pushed up through the vent area. I don't know! I have pics of how I rerouted my ccv and the fluid I collected ill post them in a bit

Yeah, there is no direct connection for the CCV to the head. It's simply a vent...

What do you mean it's simply a vent?

This is what was collected after cutting the ccv tube in half, capping the intake end and turning the other half of the tube straight down and I shoved an old pill bottle in the end to collect anything.
Straight ford gold coolant. Smells and tastes like it too.

The valve cover covers the area the valve rockers are in, it's an open space. The CCV just vents that open space, there are no tubes running from the inside of the engine to the CCV hose.

Is there any possibility that the coolant dripped down from the degas tank above the CCV into your cup because the blown HG was pressurizing the degas tank?

I'm confused.. The valve train area isn't the crankcase. The crankcase is under the pistons right? It builds up pressure from piston "blow by".

No way. Never any sign of puking. And I had my intake off checking fuel pressure and saw coolant running down my intake from where the ccv is down to my turbo. There was coolant getting into my turbo!

Oil is also pumped to the top of the heads for lubrication of the rockers. There are drain holes in the head that drain the oil straight to the crankcase.

It is impossible for it to be in the CCV and not in the crankcase. Like I said before, it's an open system.

Maybe the coolant isn't noticeable in your oil yet? Even still to be clean like that makes no sense if it was mixing.

So because you saw coolant in there you took the heads off, or did you have another reason? Why did you take the intake off?

I was checking my fuel pressure.. and I noticed coolant running down into my turbo from the ccv. So I pulled the valve cover and then the head to find my HGs blown. Either way I wasn't driving it anymore with coolant getting in my turbo. Before I throw new gaskets and ARPs in I gotta figure out where this coolants coming from.

The pathway for the crank case to vent is through the lifter openings in the block and through the push tube openings in the heads and there is also ports in the heads to allow oil to drain back to the crank case from the rockerbox area, so I can see if there was a crack in the drivers side head near where the CCV vents through the valve cover that coolant could be entrained in the crank case gases as the CCV being routed to the turbo compressor inlet is under a negative pressure ( slightly less than atmospheric ). The best thing to do would have been to remove the drivers side valve cover and pressurize the coolant system and watch for leaks so you could pin down the source. Perhaps a machine shop can pressure test the heads and magnaflux them to find the leak/crack if in fact there is one in the head.

Exactly, some tests prior to pulling it apart would have helped narrow it down...
