These pics are of the Banks adapters for hooking the intercooler piping to the turbo and intake. Looks kinda nice, huh?,.... It seems the only way to get them is to buy the whole kit. Very pricey,. Maybe some of you guys with fabricating skills could build something like this. ....
Actually I just found a place the other day that sells the banks intake for the OBS by itself. Been meaning to post it but forgot until I saw this thread.
The turbo outlet is pretty easy to fab up. Cut the outlet connector off the stock spyder and weld it up to some 2" exhaust pipe. That's what I did with mine, worked great.
Take Bill up on his offer, he could fab that up really easy for you.

That's what I was thinking Chris. I saw some one do that with the Y on another forum a long time ago. You have any pics of yours?
I don't right now Bill, I'll have to go take some. I just finished my IC up last week. It ain't the prettiest but it gets the job done. My mig was giving me fits throughout. Need a new wire guide tube.
I cut small pieces of 3" exhaust pipe and built up the Y part up to give the air a more straight in flow to both heads. Some guys just 90 right off but it forces the air to one head instead of being more even, if all that makes sense.
Bill, that sounds like an excellent plan! Only thing is, I dont see how you will have time for that with all the irons you already have in the fire. First I guess I need to get the intercooler mounted. Any suggestions where to get the boots? Seems I saw that they need to go in with the intercooler

I'm sure we could find time between now and RRE to get something made. I'm assuming you are wanting it done before RRE?
That would be nice, mostly need to get it done for towing the 5er. Likely will start draggin that thing around next month. I will get started on it. See what I can get done.
Thanks, Bill. I plan to start on getting the intercooler in this weekend. Probably will go see a local guy to see if he has any parts I can use. I'll be in touch.
