Hey guys,
Yesterday on my way to work I encountered a steering issue. If I made a turn left or right the wheel wouldn't swing back on itself it would keep in the turn. I would have to force the wheel back straight. I took it home jacked it up and discovered a bad lower ball joint which I am replacing today. Now after some research many people say it could be a bad steering box. If the ball joint dosnt fix it should I look at the steering box next? thank you
danr1 was right. after taking my axle apart to change the ball joint I discovered the axle u joint was seized up bad im surprised I could even turn it when it was installed. thanks for the help hopefully this is the culprit to my issues
