making a junk yard run, 1977 f250

Hey everybody somebody dropped off a 1977 f250 at a local junkyard. I'm going to try to get the grill and shell. Anybody have any requests? I can't guarantee the condition but I have good enough judgment to know the difference between something that is ruined.

Nice score on the grill. I have a '73 going into a local yard on Saturday. I hope the grill looks that good.

Just from that one pic, truck looks like it could be saved and not parted out.

If equipped I'd be interested in the auxiliary battery tray (regardless of condition), the continuous duty solenoid, and as much of the associated wiring.

Here are other things that make good trading fodder:
  1. Bucket seat brackets
  2. Stock AM/FM radio
  3. Uncracked steering wheels + sport steering wheel
  4. Decent "Lariat", Camper Special/Trailer Special emblems
  5. Ranger XLT glovebox emblem
  6. Polished glovebox trim
  7. Contour bumper-style rear license plate lights, lenses, caps, & pigtails (sometimes adapted to dock bumpers)
  8. Factory behind-the-seat storage unit

I agree but I don't have the cash to buy it outright. Already in the yard. Maybe the back half is much worse off?

Check double check it's the right year length.

This truck is a 250 2wd. I know there are lots of different lengths!

So I just got of the phone with the guy running the junk yard, complete *******, wow. I'm torn about even doing business with this guy. If the grill wasn't such a deal id call the whole thing off.

It looks like it still has some decent stuff on it. XLT emblems, the OEM transmission cooler, racetrack trim and probably more that can't be seen from the front.

That's nowhere near stripped.
