Not to mention it weighs as much as your truck. The HF mini lathe, if you go that route will give you days of fun, tweaking it to work just right.

A small lathe is on my list of wants. A few years ago I inherited from a family friend his personal machinists tools and supplies. But I really have little knowledge of lathes and such. I can spend all day tinkering and building though.
