I am about to replace the screen in my transmission tomorrow, and wasn't sure on the torque specs for the bolts that hold it in, and also I remember seeing somewhere that there's a spring or something else behind it that might fall out.
Also when taking off my pan (to also install a drain plug), half of the bolts came out by hand, w/o even needing a wrench on the end of the socket and extension. Not a big deal, but glad I found this out and can make sure they're tight once everything is back together. This also might explains why the transmission oil pan would "sweat" fluid but not really leak.
