'96 Powerstroke auto trans ?
Is this transmission electronically controlled. Does it have its own computer to controll it?
Also my best freind just had his trans serviced , the '96 mentioned above. It seems to shift and act differently since servicing.
What do you guys think?

I know that it is tied into the computer somehow. Everything in the powerstock has sensors that relay info to the computer. Even the dashboard gauges (ie oil pressure, speedometer) send info to the computer!

If he just had it serviced, make sure the fluid is at the correct level. Also I have heard of some with the trans filter comming off inside, ususally with that it will stall in first and rev.
