66 F100 stalling on left turns
Hi everybody:
My 66 Ford F100, I-6, 300,1 brl Carter Carb (used on 74 models), stalls some times on a left turns when climbing hills with barely sharp curves.
It stalls (dies) then recover again in a couple of seconds.
What would be the cause???.
I appreciate all your ideas and solutions.

My Dodge diesel hiccups on left turns from a dead stop when my fuel filter is getting clogged and needs to be replaced. Might be worth looking at filter if it's been a while. Just a thought. My 300 has a filter in the fuel pump itself. Bottom cartridge spins off and filter is inside the cartridge. Sort of a messy job and I get gas on the ground when I do it.

Follow UPS driving routes... right turns only unless a left is a absolute must.
Gotta agree... look towards your carb float... condition??? Brass or plastic??? Bunch of CXXX in the bowl??? Level set the correct height???
And as posted above, post the cure once you find it, could be very helpful to someone else.
Almost a edit... just noticed you're in SA, if you have difficulties getting parts, post up what you need as there are many US members who may have better access to older and are more than willing to help.

The carburetor is new rebuilt or manufactured, I hate to tear it a part, it might not work better I am afraid.
I will let it till it get worse, then I will open the carburetor and service it with a new rebuilt kit.
Thanks Charlie for your help, I will not hesitate to ask for a help when I need it.
