I have an 02 excursion limited with the v10. It's got 170,000 miles. All stock except for the tires are one size bigger than stock but it made the speedometer correct.
I went out to start my ex and noticed that the door code didn't work got in and the windows, the power seat, the pedals, the stereo, the gages, the air conditioning, the door locks, the Crouse control, all didn't work anymore. It all worked the last time I drove it. so what gives guys what could it be I've checked all the fuses under the dash and only had one bad I consider myself a decent mechanic but when it comes to wiring I'm lost so please please help me on this one
thanks
Yes, which one. Does it blow right after you turn the key on? Does it blow after you try to use anything that doesn't work? Does anything work after replacing it but one or two things make it blow? A little more info is needed. To bad NV. is Nevada and not North Virginia or I would come give you a hand I love working on electrical gremlins
I know it was a 10 amp but ill look when I get home what it goes to but it didn't change anything nothing worked any better or any worse.
Is there a computer that controls the interior for the memory seats and control the climate mabey a dumb question or dose it all go through a harness plug that maybe came unplugged somehow
I looked it up but most everything I found was about the expedition I could not find anything that sed ware to find it on the excursion or the super duty
I remembered reading about a somewhat similar issue. Best way to search is advanced search with just the King of SUVs selected. This link will give some background on GEM I think if you can wade through it all. Electrical gremlins are tedious.
