64 vs 65-66 headliner
hey guys. went browsing around bone yard and came across a 1964 ford f100 str. 6 . Only thing really left was a perect cond. org. headliner. I almost fainted. I know I can bye a new one online or with D. Carpenters but org. is oringinal , anyway mine is a 65 and when I look up headliners they only say 65-66, but 64 only showed a 2 pc set (no corners) Was there anything different in the cab frame that I'm missing that this won't fit. The truck is up north for some needed work so its not available for me to check myself so this is why I ask. anyone know if there is a cab/body difference besides cosmetics in a 64 vs 65/66

hornet,
I know this is an older post but I recently acquired a very original 64 and it had the original liner in it, which was a 4 piece. Every reproduction company that you search lists only 2 piece for 61-64 and a 4 piece for 65-.
My liner being original and thought was definitely reusable but when removing it, the finish just came off on my white gloves and turned the board a cardboard color in the spots that I touched. Lightly wiping a small area the finish just disappeared. Anyway I ordered a new 4 piece contrary to the information provided from the professionals at DC, etc.
What was the outcome of your liner and was it a 64 also with a 4 piece?

The part number for the 1964 right and left roof side trim panel. Base part number 519A20 and 519A21. Same base part number as 1965/66, but the full part number was different.
Roof Side Lower Trim Panel
1964
Standard Cab - C4TZ-81519A20-AAB/C4TZ-81519A21-AAB - Gray - Non-perforated
Custom Cab - C4TZ-81519A20-BAB/C4TZ-81519A21-BAB - Gray - Perforated
1965/1966
Standard Cab - C5TZ-81519A20-DAB/C5TZ-81519A21-DAB - Gray - Non-perforated
Custom Cab - C5TZ-81519A20-CAB/C5TZ-81519A21-CAB - Gray - Perforated
1961-1963 did not use the corners pieces, but 1964-1966 did, but 1964 used a different part number than 1965/66.
I hope that is helpful.

Thanks Chad
I ordered the C5TZ kit, as it is the only number listed at DC. I haven't even checked it but the picture with measurements looked exact. Haven't opened the box and had it for a little while. Now Im curious to see if it is what I have.
If it is not accurate any ideas as to where to find the side pieces.
