I need help to figure out which differential I have in my 2002 F350 superduty 7.3 L truck, I have a knuckle seal and the axle seal on the differential that need to be replaced, and every place I have went to needs to know which axle I have in my truck, so I was hoping someone on here could be kind enough to be able to help me out with what I have.
Here is what the front differential tag has on it.

I can give vin number too if that would help.
Thanks for any help I can get, I need to get the seals ordered so I can get them in because I have a trip come Thursday and I need the truck.
That's a hit and miss year. Most likely it's a Dana 60 but could be a Dana 50. My 2001 is a Dana 50 which I just broke the spider gears in . If I recall correctly the ends are the interchangeable where the axles and ring gear etc are different. Dana 50 has a 9" ring gear and the Dana 60 has a 9.75" ring gear. Worse case scenario you can pull the front diff cover and measure the ring gear to be 100% sure. Those are your only 2 options it's up to you to narrow it down between the two. Good luck
Thanks for the reply, I just found another number that is 248, some of the stuff on the net I have found says the 248 is a Dana 60 and the ring gear is 9.75, so from what you're saying could be that it is a Dana 60.
I hope this helps someone to be able to help me, I did find the serial number on the sticker that was still on the housing, so I hope if nothing else maybe Ford can help me figure this out.
On my searches I found this that littlehusky had said.

The hub picture tells it the best though. The 50's hub fills the whole hole. the 44 has a step down and a smaller hub.
Whish on my sticker on the door my front axle says 5200 GVW, so I am assuming that it would probably mean I have a Dana 60, which goes along with the casting numbers I found on the housing of 248.
You Sir have a Dana 60. While you are in there it would be a great time to inspect/replace the axle joints and ball joints since the same parts have to be removed to do the other parts later.

Thank you, and you're right, I am planning on changing everything you had on that list.
