Yes the truck was at operating temps. I changed the ICP on Saturday! There was a little oil on the old one and wires looked good.

If there was oil in the electrical connection you need to install a new pigtail as well. You really need to invest in a better set of gauges like the scan gauge II or one of the smartphone apps like Dashboss for IOS devices or torque pro for android, we are going to need more live data to get this one figured out.

Ok, I'll work on getting something. I cleaned the pigtail with electrical connector cleaner, the spray can type. There wasn't much oil in the connector itself so I just kept it.

Knowing the ICPV's would help us know if the ICP sensor is reading correctly and it would verify the wiring, im just wondering if the ICP sensor is giving a false high reading.

Are you running a tune in the truck? If so, then the ICP number can be skewed. Return to stock and monitor it that way.

On the ICP connection where the 3 wires meet the connection there's a grey clip take the clip off and look at the wires ,If they are white looking ? they are shorting out. Do you have a OEM OIL cap and filter ?
