Either their website sucks or I'm forced to a Mobil website that sucks, and no way for me to see the full website.
What made you choose them, is there no local dyno shop that can burn you a chip.
It's good you bought a tunable chip. I was worried you bought something crappy that was generic.
Honestly I called a couple different places and before I even purchased anything the guys at motorvation talked with me through everything I had done. They seemed to have the best customer service which was important to me seeing as it was a custom job.
I might have to just suck it up and take it to a shop. Unless anyone here is close enough to look at it. Ill pay someone if they could just tell me without a doubt whats wrong. Im just tired on not having my truck.
OK. so i did a light test on cylinder 1 injector. and it is firing. so the injectors are reading proper ohms. I am getting signal to the injectors. I am getting spark. why the heck then do I not get any of the pass side bank cylinders to fire? This is sooooo freaking strange.
On an SD motor each bank of injector is controlled a wire from the PCM. The ground is common between both.
Take off the connector to the PCM and test to make sure the wire for each bank reaches the PCM. If we know what catch code your PCM is we can tell you what wires to test.
would the test light flash if it wasn't triggering at the PCM?
I can't find a wiring diagram for this ECU, maybe someone else can chime in.
I haven't used those lights before and I know some need a resistor or something like that. This is why I suggest testing for connectivity. If you do test for connectivity then you can truck moving your harness around to see if you lose connectivity at times.
Even if you don't know what wires are for each bank at the PCM, still shouldn't be that hard to find if you have connectivity. If you connect one side of a volt meter to the positive wire on an injector on bank 1, at the PCM there will be only 1 wire that should have continuity. Same with bank 2. If you go through this process and only find 1 bank has continuity, that's a problem that should be resolved. And then you'd need to know specifically what wires to look for.
If you do this test and do have continuity to 2 wires, I'd suspect the PCM itself. I personally don't know what else it could be that allows one bank to fire and not the other.
