I would be just as happy with a 12 quart sump. Runs cooler and goes way longer between changes.

My Dodge V-10 runs 7 qts & I use a standard Ford filter FL1 because it gives me a little bit more filter capacity.

I absolutely agree, I just saw some folks complaining about the oil capacity on the RAM, that is all.
