.... Also it was a duralast hub from autozone not a moog it had about 12,000 miles on it
the last part I bought from AutoZone was for my Astro Van - Duralast front discs which had the studs in it. Dont remember now how many miles but only 2 months in and the studs broke off the drivers side while cruising at 75mph luckily on a straight road. Saw the wheel roll past me and moments later the van dropped, made it a long ways before it eventually hit a guard rail and bent the frame. oh and never did find the wheel and tire, I walked both sides of the highway for a few days.
Auto Zone wouldn't do anything about it, Insurance said they wont fight them since I did the install, they did pay me off for the van though.. Called a few attorneys no one would take it. Moral of the story, never go to AutoZone for anything but fluids. JMHO

Hey Dom,, I've actually been shooting grease in the abs hole every hundred k for a long time. The main issue I've had is I have to remove the lockout every time and put compressed air through the vac nipple and clean it out. Too much grease will clog up the vac line causing the esof to be inop.

I was reminded by a good friend of mine who happens to be a ford tech at a local dealership not to shoot anything down tat hole. So far so good.
But ur right. Too much grease can mess tat thing up. Oh and congrats on ur new business, boss! I'll be paying ur website a visit soon cos I want tat tow mirrors. Lol.
The only thing i can come up with is when it was fixed the automatic hubs wouldn't work. So I came up with the conclusion when I got it fixed they messed up the knuckle seal. With that not sealing right it could let a lot of debri in the back side of the bearing which could cause the nut to lock up and back off

If they missed up that seal then your hubs wont auto lock because it cant make vacuum.
Does anyone have a diagram of all the parts from the knuckle seal out? I need to know how many washers behind the snap ring. Also does anyone know the part number for the snap ring and the washers can you just buy them in a kit
If you go into your local Ford Dealer and are nice to the parts
person. they may print out the diagram with all the part numbers
that you need to put this back together correctly. I would not trust
any one at the local auto part stores. That is unless it's a small
guy that depends on getting things right so he keeps his customers.
