Goodbye 6.0

Well, just sold the 6.0 and watched her ride into the sunset. 498,000km and still ran like a champ. Thanks to everyone in the forum. Moving on to the 6.4.

Sort of felt sorry for the old girl. Kid showed up, set the tuner level to "Extreme" and grinned from ear to ear as he drove off.

People think bulletproof means indestructible. My little brother figured this out the hard way. Tranny 1st then figure out the coolant loss issue. Studded egr delete and a tuner. He will figure it out. Then he will blame it being a 6.0. Good luck with the 6.4

Loved that truck. Wish I could have found another King Ranch.

10 mpg and an ugly grille. Interior is cool and of course we all like those mirrors and tailgate.

His banker will be doing the same in no short time I have the feeling.

Sorry to see any 6.0 owner go. Good luck with the new truck and stop back

IMO the 6.0L was good one because its a model that's the newer age with some git up-n-go and its not to bad to fix Money wise when it needs something

Plus there's a Huge amount of info on them out there now

If I get feeling Frisky all I have to do is spend a few minutes in the 6.7L Forum at the cost of some of those repairs them boys get stuck with when the Dealer throws the warranty out the window

You might pass on the 6.4. Been there done that. Find another 6.0.

Nah, the 08-10 front ends just don't do it for me.

The 11+ is very bold and in your face, tied with the 05-07 which is my favorite.

The 99-04 is classic.

The 08-10 is bleh. Not too mention the how it opens with the hood which is a dumb move. I have seen a couple 08-10 that look fairly sharp like all Black.

Then again, the 6.4 is behind that grille which ruins everything.

Sooooo....

08+ has cool mirrors, cool tailgate and rear bumper, nice interior and ugly grille and lousy 6.4 engine.

Yep, those too.

I guess I am slowing changing my truck into an 08. I already have the wheels and mirrors, I want the tailgate and rear bumper.

Already bought a 2010 Lariat FX4. I do agree though, the 05-07 are the best looking.
