just welded in my new cat a couple days ago after i got a loud exhaust ticket i was just wondering if it will get louder over time? The old cat i cut out because it was plugged up pretty good after 290,000 miles was HUGE compared to the little maggie but the sound seems about the same. It is pared with a flowmaster super 10 but it still seems a little quite to me. especially at idle.
Also does anyone know if a borla xr-1 or a magnapack would be louder than a super 10? I think the flowmaster has kind of a cheap sound and its already pretty rusted after a year in Michigan road salt. Just looking for some opinions thanks guys

What size pipe are you using for your exhaust? Super 10 is about as loud as they get except for a full on race muffler or straight pipe. My Super 44 is as loud I want to go! LOL
