Well March is pretty much here, time to get thinkin about the next meet.
We have been meeting at Jimmy Macs for some time now, how is everyone liking it? I like it a lot, the hospitality, the food and the prices. I'm happy staying there for a while.
As for a date, would you guys rather do this on a Saturday again or a friday? If you'd like a friday, we could do the 28th of March, 6pmish. If not a friday, then Saturday the 29th. Let me know what works best for everyone.
I'm in favor of the 29th, mainly because there is no way in hell I can get out of work (shift supervisor and there's no relieving shift for days on Friday) and bomb down from Whidbey in 1.5 hours.
But I do have in-laws in Puyallup, so it gives a reason for the wife and munchkin to visit them and a reason for me to get out of it
Alright we will set it up for the 29th of march. 5:30 to around 6pm is when I normally get there, I tried to get there earlier last time but I can't really safely drive the Mustang over 50mph on the freeway. Something isn't balanced right in the drive train. I could gas up the bronco and drive it but considering the brakes are trashed it would make for a white knuckle drive.
We need to find somebody with a garage and do a grill out so we could drink some beer, talk about trucks, maybe even help a member with a minor problem. I want to come, but I'd rather stand/sit around checking out everybody's ride with a beer in hand! Just a suggestion of course, I really need to come to one of these.
Tofan, I understand, it's a good idea but we have only just recently started getting more people to meet. It used to be just me and sean, then occasionally, 1 or 2 others would show. It would definitely be cool to meet up for a bbq.
I was not going to bring it up but there is a risk if there is any beer.
Just one too many lawyers out there looking to take what you have in
there false sense of "defending the innocent" More like getting a little money
for the stupid and a **** load for themselves.
It's sad but all to true. People should show some responsibility for there actions.
But why should they with the nanny state like it going now?
