I came across this truck out in the sticks, looks fairly straight and rustfree but I am not sure what model it is. Any ideas?

 

By the wheels, it appears to be an F350.

1953/66 F350's have 6 lug wheels on a 7.25" bolt circle.

 

Thanks Bill. The guy said that he thought that it was a 1-ton. He also said that while it only has one wheel one each side on the back he felt that it was meant to be a duelly.

 

Yeah, I would say it is a 1956 F-350. Most likely a DRW and a 9800 lb GVWR if it has overload springs. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like it may be a script bed. That truck appears to be well worth saving, engine or none. JMHO
