Squeaking in front end in low speed???
So I just started getting a small semi regular squeak when I am in low speeds in my 77 f250. At first I thought it might be brakes but now I am guessing something in axle/drivetrain? As I always have to caveat, I am still a new guy on the job and troubleshooting and repair skills are still being acquired
Any thoughts as to what I should be looking/listening for to better diagnose the issue? I had my pregnant wife running down the road beside each tire trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. I thought it was a great idea, she thinks I'm an idiot! All we could figure out is that it squeaks when the car is in low speeds and doesnt really squeak when brakes are applied.
I have a guy down the road that is going to be helping me and charges labor while I buy parts and I get to be a part of the experience so I am lucky in this aspect. I would like some opinions before I head down his way this weekend so I can be doing more research.
Thanks!
