Brake Clicking
Whenever I have been driving for a while - like 20 minutes or so, my rear brakes make a loud clunk noise whenever I apply pressure to them. It sounds like it is coming from the R rear brake but then again i am driving.......Its a 1989, and I believe it has rear ABS, which I am not all to familiar with. The clunking noise rarely happens when the car is cold, but that really shouldnt matter i would imagine. The brakes aren't the newest but they are definately sound - I just put them on about 3,000 miles ago. I'm gonna pull the wheel off tomorrow and see what could be goin on, i just thought i'd put this up to have a better idea what to be looking for

Take a CLOSE look at the U-bolts that hold the axle to the leaf spring packs, and the nut inside the yoke. The yoke nut is known to work loose, allowing slop in the driveline & pinion bearings.

that would explain the noise on just the right side then - well after tomorrow ill update this baby - thanks alot - and lemme comment on the rapid speed of that response.......
