05 died

i got a 05 6.0 with 217k miles. driving down the road and truck died and wouldnt restart. did some checking and no icp pressure and duty cycle on ipr goes wide open. thought it was the stc fitting so i pulled it apart. well fitting was good so since i had a new pump with one piece fitting laying around i put it in with new ipr. put it back together and still no icp pressure and ipr goes wide open. the low pressure comes up on dash while cranking. guess i'll pull valve covers next to check pipes. anybody got any ideas if im missing something? thanks. it does have 3 glow plug codes one being the relay. i dont think that would have anything to do with it though.

Did you try to unplug the icp and crank it?

Pressurize it and see where the leak is would be my next step.

Believe I found problem. The little cir clip and oring in top of #7 injector is m.i.a. guess its in the oil pan by now. Got to finish putting back together tonight. Wonder how often that happens?

Do the updated stand pipes and dummy plugs while your in there.unless done already.

I had one do that. Half the clip was gone along with half the oring. I thought maybe previous owner may have done it being a little rough putting the oil rail back on or something. Who knows. Fixed it ran good. Glad you found your problem.
