I plan to run an underdash midfifties (if you know of a junkyard wiper conversion please fill me in) wiper motor and vintage air heat and cooling unit.

My questions are:

What holes do I need to leave open on the firewall for the vintage air unit? Does it use the stock heater hose location? Heater motor hole?

How about an underdash wiper motor? Can I shave the hump and fill the holes?

BTW when I say holes I mean the large ones for hoses, shafts etc. Not to concerned about the bolt holes but would still like to know if the kits use the stock bolt holes.

 

Vintage Air units will use their own mounts and brackets, and they typically hang from underneath. None of the OEM firewall holes will be utilized. Fill 'em all and start fresh.
