I'm sure this has been covered before but I can't seem to find it, if you know the link feel free to post it for me.
I'm looking at getting a set of wheels and tires for my truck and probably a 4" lift later. I prefer the method double standard and am looking at the 17x8.5, this comes with 0 offset and 4.75"of backspacing. The method standard comes in a 17x9 with -12 offset and 4.5" of backspacing. I would like to be able to run a set of 35x12.5x17 in either the Nitto trail grapplers or Toyo OC m/ts but I might need the lift before that will clear.
So my question is how much of a difference does more offset and less backspacing make vs the other and the extra 1/2" of wheel?
