Looking for a welder

Hey all

I had previously talked with oddfordjunkie about getting patch panels welded into the floor of my highboy, but he's since moved south and I can't take my truck that far (sorry man!)

So, I'm looking for someone who would be willing to do the patch. I'll provide the panels, and can drive the truck out to you and leave it for a little while. I'd like to stay as close as I can, because even with the 300 she's a thirsty rig to fuel.

Either PM me, email me, or text me at 360-292-9119. If you text me, just make sure you say who you are (FTE username works great) so I don't ignore it.

Thanks
Jameson

I suggest you Contact Joewelds, as you might imagine he welds for a living, he owns a dentside and is located in a good location for you.

Hey Jameson, my best bud just snagged a TIG welder and we're both in Oak Harbor. Catch is he's still perfecting the cleanliness of his beads (they're completely solid, just not super pretty lol), and I'm on leave but due back March 1st. If Joewelds can't get you in, just shoot me a pm and let me know.

Could be fun just meeting up in general too - you and I have the Ford connection and my buddy Richy has a '66 Bug with a turbo 2332 that he's working on

I shoot ya a pm. They don't have to look good, just have to hold. They're gonna be covered by carpet anyway

I'd love to take a look at that bug. A turbo 2332 would move my baja along really well

I remember Joe. I met up with him at a meet last year. Had not seen him around recently, so I figured he's busy.

I suppose it's also worth noting that there will be some custom sheet metal work, because there are holes in the floor that don't have patch panels available...

I can send you Joe's number if he doesn't find the thread. He hasn't been working lately and probably wouldn't mind having something to do.
