Rod, are you running just the single EGT probe?
On the US forum I read that it is good to run 2 probes, one in each manifold. If you get an injector failure you will be able to pick it up by the temperature difference between the 2 probes.
An injector failure can lead to high EGTs.

spend the money and get another tuner. Speek to Clay. I have changed from Matts tunes to the tuner Clay uses. A vast improvement.
