Coming up on my second oil change. I was perusing the manual for another post and noticed the manual mentions greasing drive line components "if equipped with grease fittings"
I have yet to crawl under my truck to look for these, does anyone know if we actually have greaseable points?
Thanks Tim, saved me from crawling under the salty truck for now.
You bet. Been that way for a couple decades. When or if these joints fail, I always replace them with joints that I can maintain. The ball joints and U joints on my '86 and '88 failed pretty quick, the lubed for life joints on my Expy are sill in great shape after 10 years and 98K miles. There is hope for the new trucks.
Humm...Interesting they would still mention it in the manual for the current trucks. Maybe the HD payload trucks have them??

Same, I prefer to have zerks. Had them on all my OBS Trucks.

Good to hear they are still in good shape. I am targeting about 10 years for 100k on my current truck, as it is not my daily driver in the spring/summer/fall. I have the bike for that

My 2003 F250 manual said the same thing and it didn't have any greaseable joints. I did see that the ball joints they used in the F450 and F550 were greaseable, so maybe it's just a cover-all statement. I always go with MOOG greaseable joints when I replace anything.
