1989 f250. 5.8, C6. Looking for a list of virtually every sensor and switch etc. related to drive ability I can find. I have dug through parts online and can dig through th manual.
I have, PVC,egr, map, crank, tps, speed sensor, tranny speed sensor (I have a c6 so don't know if I have this one) , temperature, oil pressure, intake manifold temp. Fuel pressure regulator, ignition coil. Ecu of course.
Apologies. Meant to include that info. This is a nice older truck and I am hoping to wait 1-2 years before having a truck payment for a fast growing lawn care/snow business, having some issues and gonna change the maf and clean he egr tomorrow.
This truck rarely gives me a problem and suits my needs well for now. I just hate having an issue in the middle of a work day or night. It's not that I cannot afford a truck payment, I just don't want to commit to one yet. Also I like having something that has been rung out by so many users. I can normally fix his truck within 6-24 hrs in almost any scenario and I like that. I also think it looks like a real truck as opposed to being shrouded in pretty trim and plastic!

Run the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) tests and Continuous Memory (CM aka historical) code display. List the codes you received, by number, and when they were displayed.
Or purchase a code reader such as the Innova/Equus 3145
Thank for the info. I'm gonna pull codes today. I'm running rich and also running. Weak/stuttering around cruising speed. Several parts places including napa and rock auto list an maf. It seems to match a small box on the passenger side firewall. What am I looking at there?
The box on the passenger side firewall is the MAP sensor. You also have a seperate temp sender for the dash gauge just in front of the #5 injector. As mentioned pull codes don't just start changing parts randomly, if you're gonna buy anything up front make it an Equus/Innova 3145 code reader..
