What are the most common problems with the 02 - 07 Explorer transmissions? Just opened up one of my 05's it has about a half cup of brass and steel in the pan someone forgot to service it NO dipstick need all the suggestions you have. It only gave a P0775 code not any more.

 

I read that this code refers to a malfunction in pressure control module B which is a common problem in there transmissions. Having same issue with my 04. Some people say you can only replace the whole solenoid Pack which is $370 at advance but both Napa and Advance sell the individual solenoids. I'm going to take a stab at just replacing the bad solenoid.

 

When we pulled the pan on a 5r55s there is about 1/2 cup of metal & brass in it. Blew my valve bank idea away!
