9" Rebuild Issues

We are in the process of rebuilding a 9" and having problems removing ring gear bolts. We have notice the excessive use of thread locker on other bolts and suspect this is adding to the problem. Do y'alll have any suggestions or tricks for holding the ring gear and carrier while cranking on the bolts?

We have read all the tutorials on the site for rebuilding the 9" and cant find anything to help. We are always looking for good tips for this or any other install tricks!

Impact will remove them. If no impact available use some heat on bolts, if no heat available try using some kind of long pry bar or pipe to hold it, if thats not available fight em.

Thanks, will try the impact, holding it seems to be the issue, we dont want the carrier damaged!

Don't remove bolts till all are loose.

It could be a heat release thread locker. Try using a torch on the bolt head and a nice long breaker bar. As others said, use an impact wrench.
