What fluid, for 5speed
Changing all fluids, and filters, in recently bought 1997 f150 5speed, 4.6 .. with 133 K... The question is the 5speed calls for Mercon ATF... I will be towing a 4,000 lb Airstream.. Would synthetic ATF be overkill? Also the diff. thanks,

Synthetic fluids are all I use.
