Mirror swap

Hi I Probably don't have the right forum but I have searched without luck throughout the site looking to see if any one has swapped out their regular towing mirrors for a set of powerscope ones with power fold and telescopic functions. I also need to know if the wiring is going to already be in there for them , I know that the switch will also have to be replaced ,but is there any thing else? truck is 2013 f250 and this forum seems to have the most responses for that year and model. Thanks

Mine came with it so I haven't checked but usually the wiring is already there. Just need the mirrors and the switch. Possibly someone here who has done it. I would search the 6.4L forum and Super Duty forums but more guys there upgraded their 04 to 07 with the power scope mirrors using the 2008 and up mirrors. I haven't heard of anyone doing it to our trucks yet but somebody will probably chime in. Expensive upgrade if you it didn't come with the truck.

Ok So I just went out to the truck and pulled the drivers side door panel off. I then pulled some of the plastic sheeting off & tried to see if there was any connectors or wiring for the extra features but there doesn't appear to be any so to my limited knowledge it doesn't look like it would be plug and play for this upgrade . I guess the only way to do this would be to go the same route as the guys doing retrofits in the pre-08 trucks and rewire for it.

I have had the door panel off the king ranch and the xlt.

The only diff is to the switch that extends the mirrors, That will require power from the fuse box or a tie in to the power to mirror. I "Think" connectors to normal power mirror already has the connection for folding the mirrors. Do you have power windows and mirrors?

When I get to it I will simple pull 12 DC from the power mirrors to supply power to the motor.

When they talk about memory they are taking about the truck have multiple user memory's Where to place the mirrors the seat, environment controls. I don't plan on putting that in.

Yeah it has power mirrors and heat without the memory function I should have pulled the passenger side of as well to see if extra wires were there or not for it. I am sorry but wiring is really not my strong point . From what I could see on mine the connector that comes from the existing power mirror switch goes back into the door wiring harness, then another set of wires comes from the harness to the mirror connector ,but there is nothing coming from the harness to provide for a mirror extending switch unless it would bypass the harness and go straight to the mirror connector ,,, but then how would it control the passenger side? Btw It is a 2013 xlt f250
